Resident Rooms

• 115 licensed beds
• 10 sheltered care beds
• 38 intermediate care beds
• 67 skilled care beds
• Includes 22-bed Memory support area called Heiterland (Heiterland means “land of calmness, serenity and happiness”)
• 61% of rooms are private
• Certified for Medicare and Medicaid
• Each room is fully furnished however, residents may bring their own furniture if they wish. We encourage residents to bring their own bedspread, pictures, lamp or chair to maintain a home-like atmosphere.

Levels of Care

Resident room rates are based on the amount of care the resident is receiving. We use the MDS (minimum data set) state assessment tool for the basis of determining the amount of care the resident is receiving. Assessments are done upon admission, when there is a significant change in the resident’s health and on a quarterly basis.

Our current daily room rates effective February 1, 2010 are as follows:

Nursing Care

Our dedicated staff of RN’s, LPN’s and CNA’s are available to provide nursing care 24 hours per day. The nursing staff not only provides outstanding medical care but also ministers to the spiritual and emotional needs of the residents on a daily basis. We currently have 30 staff nurses (15 RN’s and 15 LPN’s) and 95 CNA’s.

• Average of 10 years of service for nurses and 5 years of service for CNA's
