Our staff believe it is our privilege to provide loving care in the spirit of Christ.
Nowhere is this more evident than in our Health Center and Heiterland, our memory care unit, where residents need assistance and support. We believe each person is precious in the sight of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. That's why, for instance, our facility is spotless and odor-free. It's why our residents are kept clean, groomed, and wear ironed clothing.
Consistent with our philosophy, we provide consistency in staffing assignments. That means our nurses and CNAs serve the same residents every day. This allows them to truly get to know the residents, their personalities, habits, likes and dislikes, so they can provide tailored care to each individual.

Levels of Care
Resident room rates are based on the amount of care the resident is receiving. We use the MDS (minimum data set) state assessment tool for the basis of determining the amount of care the resident is receiving. Assessments are done upon admission, when there is a significant change in the resident’s health and on a quarterly basis.
Despite premium care and amenities, our home is actually less expensive than most. This is due to the generous base of financial support from our sponsoring churches and other donors. Our current daily room rates effective March 1, 2020 are as follows:
Sheltered care $150
Nursing Level 1 $201
Nursing Level 2 $213
Nursing Level 3 $227
Our dedicated staff of RN’s, LPN’s and CNA’s provide nursing care 24 hours per day. The nursing staff not only provides outstanding medical care but also ministers to the spiritual and emotional needs of the residents on a daily basis. We currently have 28 staff nurses (16 RN’s and 12 LPN’s) and 90 CNA’s.
5 staff nurses on day and pm shift
Ratio of 6 residents to 1 CNA in skilled area
Universal Care Giver Ratio of 5:1 in Heiterland memory support area
Average of 10 years of service for nurses and 5 years of service for CNA's
